Buonasera a tutti e a tutte, in questo articolo voglio parlarvi di un progetto stupendo avviato dall’Instituto Ayrton Senna, il “Progeto Acelera” che ha portato alla realizzazione di un braccialetto con i colori del casco di Ayrton Senna contenente uno speciale videomessaggio in realtà aumentata per tutti gli atleti brasiliani che parteciparono alle Olimpiadi e Paralimpiadi di Rio de Janeiro 2016, un messaggio speciale visibile solo dopo aver apposto il proprio smartphone Android sopra il casco disegnato sul braccialetto: il messaggio che contiene è riferito al Gran Premio di Interlagos del 1991, il gran premio memorabile che Ayrton Senna vinse a bordo della Mclaren Honda MP4/6 a casa sua e davanti alla sua gente, dopo anni di tentativi andati sempre a vuoto per colpa di problemi meccanici alla sua Mclaren, ma nonostante anche nell’edizione del 1991 ebbe problemi dapprima alle gomme e poi al cambio, prima degli ultimi giri andarono fuori uso sia la terza che la quinta marcia e per poter terminare la gara di casa, dovette guidare con la mano sinistra sul volante e con l’altra, la destra, dovette tenere la leva del cambio innestata sulla sesta marcia per evitare che si sfilasse e ritirarsi per problemi al cambio, per cui Ayrton dovette richiedere uno sforzo sovrumano al proprio corpo attraverso la spalla ed il braccio solo per mantenere la mano sul cambio inchiodato sulla sesta marcia e sfido chiunque oggi a riuscire a guidare con una vettura di F1 di quei tempi bloccata in sesta marcia, a rischio che nelle curve lente si potesse spegnere il motore! Ayrton sapeva che vincendo finalmente il gran premio di San Paolo del Brasile a casa sua sarebbe stata la vittoria più importante di tutta la sua carriera di pilota di F1 e così è stato! Egli dimostrò di saper vincere comunque quel gran premio con la testa, grazie alla sua immensa forza mentale, costruita nel tempo con gli allenamenti specifici di corsa in pista, di yoga e meditazione per accelerare il suo recupero e seguiti con il suo storico fisioterapista personale Nuno Cobra, ma dimostrò anche che con la sola forza di volontà, unita a tanta classe, si può ottenere qualsiasi tipo di risultato, a prescindere dalle avversità che il destino ci lancia contro ed è per questo che io resterò per sempre un suo seguace convinto, proprio per queste due caratteristiche che ho anch’io e che permettono alle persone di distinguersi ed emergere dal resto della massa sempre, in ogni condizione.
Il Gran Premio del Brasile del 1991 a San Paolo per tutti i seguaci di Senna come me resterà per sempre scolpita nella nostra mente come una storia di resilienza, perseveranza, motivazione e dedizione completa allo sport che ha reso il nostro campione Ayrton famoso in tutto il Mondo ed immortale, una storia altamente educativa che torna fortemente e riporta alla ribalta oggi il mito di Senna, specialmente in questi tempi in cui è incerto sia il presente che il futuro dell’intera nostra Umanità. Ayrton Senna è stato prima di tutto una persona umana speciale e poi anche un pilota speciale, diverso da tutti gli altri, al punto che dalle persone comuni veniva considerato una divinità aliena che aveva molto di extraterrestre e poco di terrestre, ma in realtà era un semplice uomo che amava leggere la Bibbia cristiana e che si è costruito da solo grazie al suo immenso talento, al di là delle grandi possibilità economiche di cui disponeva la sua famiglia cristiana benestante. Ayrton inseguiva i suoi sogni, i suoi obiettivi che si poneva e li otteneva con la sua forza di volontà, dedizione e perseveranza, per queste caratteristiche ancora oggi la sua storia merita di essere riscoperta e raccontata non solo negli Istituti scolastici brasiliani, come continua a raccontare da quasi 30 anni l’Instituto Ayrton Senna, dal 20 Novembre del 1994 ad oggi, attraverso la Presidentessa Viviane Senna e sua figlia Bianca Lalli, la nipote di Ayrton, ma anche negli Istituti Scolastici di tutto il Mondo, perché oggi come non mai, abbiamo bisogno ancora di eroi dagli altissimi valori umani per formare sempre più gli uomini e le donne di domani che vivranno nell’Era della Resilienza per ricostruire le nostre società dalle macerie arrecate dal mondo globalizzato e capitalista portato nella sua forma più estrema. Ayrton ci ha dimostrato con il suo esempio che se lo vogliamo veramente, il cambiamento….siamo noi stessi!
Tempo di lasciare l’Italia entro i prossimi 5-10 anni al massimo, partire per il Portogallo, imparare la lingua e poi trasferirmi in Brasile dai 50 anni in poi, così io ed Ayrton resteremo uniti per sempre, nellamia nuova vita in Brasile ed anche dopo la mia morte.

He demonstrated that he knew how to win that grand prize with his head anyway, thanks to his immense mental strength, built over time with specific track running, yoga and meditation training to speed up his recovery and followed up with his historic personal physiotherapist Nuno Cobra, but he also demonstrated that with willpower alone, combined with a lot of class, any type of result can be achieved, regardless of the adversities that fate throws at us and this is why I will forever remain a convinced follower of his, precisely because of these two characteristics that I also have and which allow people to stand out and emerge from the rest of the crowd always, in every condition.
The 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo for all Senna followers like me will forever remain engraved in our minds as a story of resilience, perseverance, motivation and complete dedication to the sport that made our champion Ayrton famous throughout the world. World and immortal, a highly educational story that strongly returns and brings the myth of Senna back to the fore today, especially in these times in which both the present and the future of our entire humanity are uncertain. Ayrton Senna was first of all a special human person and then also a special driver, different from all the others, to the point that by ordinary people he was considered an alien divinity who had much that was extraterrestrial and little that was terrestrial, but in reality he was a simple man who loved reading the Christian Bible and who built himself thanks to his immense talent, beyond the great economic possibilities available to his wealthy Christian family. Ayrton chased his dreams, his goals that he set for himself and obtained them with his willpower, dedication and perseverance, for these characteristics even today his story deserves to be rediscovered and told not only in Brazilian educational institutions, as he continues to telling about the Ayrton Senna Institute for almost 30 years, from 20 November 1994 to today, through President Viviane Senna and her daughter Bianca Lalli, Ayrton’s granddaughter, but also in educational institutions all over the world, because today more than ever , we still need heroes with the highest human values to increasingly train the men and women of tomorrow who will live in the Era of Resilience to rebuild our societies from the rubble caused by the globalized and capitalist world brought to its most extreme form. Ayrton showed us with his example that if we really want change…. it is ourselves! Time to leave Italy within the next 5-10 years at most, leave for Portugal, learn the language and then move to Brazil from the age of 50 onwards, so Ayrton and I will remain united forever, in my new life in Brazil and even after my death.
