Il contrappasso dantesco dei vertici sportivi e politici italiani in piedi ad applaudire il re della terra rossa Novak Djokovic dopo la sesta vittoria agli Internazionali di tennis di Roma. Avevano indirizzato a “Nole” i peggiori epiteti quando, da non vaccinato, chiedeva di giocare gli Open d’Australia. Come Zingaretti che parlò di “schifo”. Ora deve inchinarsi di fronte alla sua battaglia di libertà.
Vedere i vertici dello sport italiano e gli amministratori di Roma e della Regione Lazio, tutti targati PD, in piedi ad applaudire il numero uno al mondo Novak Djokovic ha un non so che di dantesco. Nel senso che deve essere stato un bel contrappasso quello vissuto da Malagò & company, ma anche per diversi politici, i quali a Febbraio avevano contestato la sua battaglia no vax ai tempi degli Open d’Australia.
Il presidente del CONI disse che la «presenza di Djokovic a Roma è un messaggio sbagliato» mentre Nino Cartabellotta della Fondazione GIMBE, che non si capisce bene da chi abbia mai ricevuto l’investitura di essere l’oracolo sui dati e i numeri del COVID, si spinse addirittura a dire che la battaglia del campione serbo di non vaccinarsi e «pretendere» di giocare era sbagliata dato che «le evidenze scientifiche ci dicono che a causa del long covid molti sportivi non possono riprendere l’attività». Semmai, sta succedendo – e accade tutt’ora – un altro fenomeno inquietante, quello delle miocarditi da vaccino che stanno letteralmente funestando atleti professionisti e no (esempio Sonny Colbrelli nel ciclismo su strada al quale è stata scoperta da rapporto medico una cicatrice sul cuore prodotta dalla terza dose booster da vaccino anti-COVID19, dopo il malore avuto durante una tappa del Giro di Catalogna in Spagna nel Marzo del 2022) ma questo non interessava allora mentre oggi che ci sono ormai sufficienti prove, si fa finta di nulla.

Anche il mondo politico si era esposto nella foga da tweet compulsivo a cominciare dal governatore laziale ZIngaretti: ai tempi della deroga concessa in gennaio (poi venne espulso) Nicola Zingaretti se ne uscì dicendo che “la deroga agli Australian Open per Djokovic è uno schifo. Un pessimo privilegio e uno schiaffo in faccia a chi lotta contro il covid”. Cinque mesi dopo era in piedi sulla tribuna del Foro italico ad applaudirlo come nulla fosse.
Il forzista Gasparri auspicava che Djokovic se ne rimanesse a casa perché un campione è tale quando rispetta le regole. Parole a vanvera nel circo mediatico, ma parole che come sempre influenzavano l’opinione pubblica.
Come si sa Nole non partecipò agli Open, ma invece ha partecipato oggi agli Internazionali di Roma, vincendoli, anzi, stravincendoli dato che il 6-0 7-6 inflitto al greco Tsisipas non lascia adito a dubbi: il numero uno del tennis mondiale, è ancora lui. Anche se non vaccinato.
Cadono dunque tutti i costrutti mentali degli opinion maker di casa nostra e cade anche lo sciagurato sillogismo del premier Draghi (“non ti vaccini, ti ammali, muori”) che oggi Djokovic potrebbe a buon diritto ribattezzare così: «Non ti vaccini, non ti ammali, vinci».
Che lezione ai parrucconi della maggioranza di governo che mentre si auguravano la fine della carriera del tennista serbo hanno proibito le attività sportive per tutti quegli adolescenti over 12 anni che non sono vaccinati.
E che lezione di gioco anche a chi ormai fa della vittoria o della sconfitta in una qualunque competizione una faccenda politica. Djokovic vinceva gli internazionali Bnl di Roma proprio mentre a Torino veniva incoronata vincitrice dell’Eurovision song contest una band ucraina che se non ci fosse stata la guerra avrebbe probabilmente trascorso nell’anonimato internazionale il resto dei suoi giorni. Insomma: c’è chi vince per ideologia e chi vince sul campo sudando sulla terra rossa.
Il sonoro cappotto inflitto al nostro establishment sportivo dal numero uno del tennis mondiale che ha saputo sfidare le minacce che lo hanno tormentato ingiustamente ci consegna anche un’altra verità della quale dobbiamo tenere ormai conto: anche lo sport è legato a doppio filo con la politica, in un rapporto di vassallaggio. Ed è lo stesso vassallaggio che fa piegare la testa delle autorità sportive di fronte all’ignobile pretesa di escludere gli atleti russi dalle competizioni sportive. Per far vincere, l’Eurovision insegna, magari, proprio gli ucraini.
Insomma: Djokovic ci insegna che nello sport è il migliore che deve vincere non quello più in sintonia col potere politico. Per usare un linguaggio tennistico: game, set, match. Pee usare quello di Giulio Cesare: Djoko, Video, Vinco.
