ALESSIO, sappiamo che in fondo a quella strada c’è un muro.
Eppure c’è chi continua a correre a tutta velocità come se quel muro fosse di carta. Lo schianto è sempre più vicino, ogni giorno di più. E potrebbe essere devastante. Per noi, per l’ambiente e per il pianeta.
Nelle regioni della Pianura Padana si continuano ad autorizzare nuovi allevamenti intensivi. È paradossale se pensiamo che si tratta di una zona già drammaticamente inquinata. Eppure, vengono costruiti nuovi capannoni giganteschi, dove verranno stipati migliaia di maiali o centinaia di migliaia di polli. Anche in Friuli, per fare un esempio, nei pressi di San Vito al Tagliamento è già è presente un allevamento intensivo di avicoli di oltre 200.000 capi/ciclo, ma è attualmente in corso una procedura di ampliamento per l’allevamento di ulteriori 200.000 capi/ciclo.
Ormai tutti sanno che gli allevamenti intensivi sono una causa della crisi climatica, sono spesso luoghi di terribili sofferenze per gli animali, e l’ammoniaca NH4 emessa da questi impianti porta alla formazione delle polveri sottili, PM 2,5, causa di migliaia di morti premature ogni anno solo in Italia. Ma c’è chi continua a far finta di nulla e a preferire i propri interessi economici alla salute delle persone e degli animali.

Occorre bloccare la costruzione di nuove fabbriche di carne che hanno ricadute negative sulle nostre vite e su quelle degli animali. Non possiamo fermarci, e tu, ALESSIO, puoi essere determinante ancora una volta!

ALESSIO, noi non ci arrendiamo perché quel muro possiamo evitarlo. Come? Continuando ad investigare, mettendoci la faccia per denunciare gli impatti ambientali legati agli allevamenti intensivi in Italia perché questo sistema produttivo malato venga fermato.
Come sai, dopo anni di ricerche e di denunce, di indagini e report sull’impatto ambientale degli allevamenti intensivi, abbiamo depositato una proposta di legge per fermare questo modello autodistruttivo. Insieme alla moratoria contro la costruzione di nuovi allevamenti intensivi, vogliamo promuovere un modello agroalimentare sostenibile, che reindirizzi i milioni di euro di soldi pubblici che attualmente finiscono nel sistema degli allevamenti intensivi, verso una transizione vera e propria.

IT’S NOT POSSIBLE ALESSIO! NEW INTENSIVE FARMERS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
ALESSIO, we know that at the end of that road there is a wall.
Yet there are those who continue to run at full speed as if that wall were made of paper. The crash is getting closer and closer, more and more every day. And it could be devastating. For us, for the environment and for the planet.
In the regions of the Po Valley, new intensive farms continue to be authorized. It’s paradoxical if we think that this is an area that is already dramatically polluted. Yet, gigantic new sheds are being built, where thousands of pigs or hundreds of thousands of chickens will be crammed. Even in Friuli, for example, near San Vito al Tagliamento there is already an intensive poultry farm of over 200,000 heads/cycle, but an expansion procedure is currently underway for the breeding of a further 200,000 heads/cycle.
By now everyone knows that intensive farms are a cause of the climate crisis, they are often places of terrible suffering for animals, and the ammonia NH4 emitted by these plants leads to the formation of fine particles, PM 2.5, which causes thousands of premature deaths every year only in Italy. But there are those who continue to pretend nothing has happened and prefer their own economic interests to the health of people and animals.
We must stop the construction of new meat factories which have negative repercussions on our lives and those of animals. We cannot stop, and you, ALESSIO, can be decisive once again!
