Enabling more cycling is essential for embracing sustainable urban development! 💚

Discover how Rome is committed to promoting active travel as part of Measure 8 of the UPPER Project EU!

Cycling and #ActiveMobility have an important role to play in the further development of public transport systems. The European Cyclists’​ Federation will focus on 10 measures in 6 different cities. These consist of creating multimodal hubs where active modes and public transport meet, developing incentive packages to support multimodality, enabling public transport in peri-urban areas, campaigning for sustainable modes of transport (including public transport and active modes) and, finally, enhancing multimodal interconnections and integration.
Roma Capitale as part of the project Measure 8 “Designing the urban space to promote active travel modes, PT and environmental “30 zones” committed to building 100 km of new cycling paths by the end of the project.
