I doppi standard morali del mondo occidentale di Gaza accecano così tanto che perfino le prove scientifiche pubblicate su riviste prestigiose come Lancet, giustamente usate per contrastare le asserzioni dei negazionismi Covid durante la pandemia, ora vengono messe in dubbio o ignorate? I dati che anche le Nazioni Unite e epidemiologi di istituzioni accreditate a livello mondiale ritengono approssimativamente validi, per i negazionismi del genocidio non sono affidabili se si tratta di Gaza? O sono le critiche sui dati di mortalità a rivelare l’inaffidabilità delle opinioni dei negazionismi del genocidio? Pur di negare l’evidenza di un crimine del quale siamo tutti complici la nostra mente prova di tutto?
In questa ricerca apparsa su Lancet che ha analizzato i dati di mortalità del ministro della Sanità a Gaza, tre ricercatori della John Hopkins School of Public Health chiariscono in modo empirico che i dati di mortalità a Gaza non sono gonfiati e non hanno grandi margini di errore. I morti accertati, infatti, come accaduto durante la pandemia, sono molto probabilmentesottostimati. Perché? Per una ragione molto semplice: con il 70% delle case distrutte, quasi tutti gli ospedali, scuole, panetterie distrutte, senza acqua potabile, riscaldamento, scarso accesso a cibo e medicinali, cosa ci si aspettate succeda? Che la mortalità diminuisca? E cosa ne dite “dell’effetto statistico” (concedetemi il tragico sarcasmo) di centinaia se non migliaia di corpi sotto le macerie?

In sette mesi di assalto a Gaza, Israele ha ucciso oltre 14000 bambini; l’invasione della Russia in Ucraina in oltre 2 anni di bombardamenti poco più di 500 (ovviamente anche questi dati sono sottostimati e ogni vita di un bambino ucciso in guerra è una tragedia indicibile beh oltre i freddi numeri). I freddi numeri tuttavia dicono che il genocidio di Israele a Gaza, aiutato e sostenuto moralmente e militarmente dal mondo occidentale, è un atto di ferocia (e psicopatia internazionale) senza precedenti storici recenti.
Di fronte a questi fatti e questi dati, arrampicarsi sugli specchi adducendo sofismi di vario tipo al fine di negarne la devastante, tragica importanza, è sintomo di un pregiudizio culturale che assegna valore alla vita umana a targhe alterne. È la prova che mass media, istituzioni educative e socializzazione hanno spinto il nostro immaginario collettivo a suddividere le persone uccise in guerra in “vittime di serie A” e “vittime di serie B”. Quelle di “serie A”, opera dei nostri nemici, meritano le nostre lacrime e la nostra compassione. “Quelle di serie B”, causate dai nostri governi e loro alleati, la nostra indifferenza?
Are the Western world’s moral double standards in Gaza so blinding that even scientific evidence published in prestigious journals such as the Lancet, rightly used to counter the claims of Covid deniers during the pandemic, is now being doubted or ignored? The data that even the United Nations and epidemiologists of accredited institutions worldwide consider to be approximately valid, for genocide deniers, are not reliable when it comes to Gaza? Or is it the criticism of mortality data that reveals the unreliability of the opinions of genocide deniers? In order to deny the evidence of a crime in which we are all accomplices, does our mind try anything?
In this research which appeared in the Lancet which analyzed the mortality data of the Minister of Health in Gaza, three researchers from the John Hopkins School of Public Health clarify empirically that the mortality data in Gaza are not inflated and do not have large margins of error . The confirmed deaths, in fact, as happened during the pandemic, are most likely underestimated. Why? For a very simple reason: with 70% of homes destroyed, almost all hospitals, schools, bakeries destroyed, without drinking water, heating, little access to food and medicine, what do you expect to happen? May mortality decrease? And what do you say about the “statistical effect” (please indulge me in tragic sarcasm) of hundreds if not thousands of bodies under the rubble?

In seven months of assault on Gaza, Israel killed over 14,000 children; the invasion of Russia in Ukraine in over 2 years of bombings just over 500 (obviously even these data are underestimated and every life of a child killed in war is an unspeakable tragedy well beyond the cold numbers). The cold numbers, however, say that Israel’s genocide in Gaza, aided and supported morally and militarily by the Western world, is an act of ferocity (and international psychopathy) without recent historical precedent.
Faced with these facts and data, climbing on straws by citing sophisms of various types in order to deny their devastating, tragic importance, is a symptom of a cultural prejudice that assigns value to human life on alternate plates. It is proof that mass media, educational institutions and socialization have pushed our collective imagination to divide people killed in war into “series A victims” and “series B victims”. Those of “series A”, the work of our enemies, deserve our tears and our compassion. “The second-class ones”, caused by our governments and their allies, our indifference?

Mutaz e la sua famiglia sono stati costretti a evacuare da Khan Younis quando gli attacchi militari israeliani si sono estesi al sud e si sono recati ad Al Mawasi, che era stata dichiarata zona sicura con la promessa di aiuti.
Sfortunatamente, al loro arrivo, hanno scoperto che era disponibile alcuna assistenza e ora devono sopportare condizioni di vita estremamente difficili.

The siege on Gaza, in response to terrifying Hamas attacks, means that no electricity, medical supplies, water or food can enter.
Thousands of families are without food, water and sanitation, and many are trapped in their homes, unable to escape the bombing.

Mutaz and his family were forced to evacuate from Khan Younis when Israeli military attacks spread to the south and traveled to Al Mawasi, which had been declared a safe zone with the promise of aid.
Unfortunately, upon their arrival, they found that no assistance was available and now have to endure extremely difficult living conditions.
“Rain was falling from all sides of the tent. We had to sleep lying on top of the flour sack to protect it from the rain. […] My wife and three of my daughters use a blanket at night. There are only enough blankets for four people to share. We have nothing.”
During the day Mutaz bakes stale bread to feed his family and resist hunger.
The cold has arrived. The displaced lack blankets and winter clothing.

Many makeshift tents will not yet withstand the force of wind and rainwater.
It is cold. People forced to leave their homes couldn’t take enough clothes or blankets because they thought it was for a couple of days and they would eventually return to their homes.”

Alessio Brancaccio, l’uomo prima di tutto e poi l’atleta sportivo romano più rappresentativo in terra straniera d’Abruzzo da 36 anni, l’incorreggibile, l’uomo delle battaglie totali, l’uomo che non si ferma mai di fronte a niente e a nessuno, un uomo miracolato due volte, una volta contro una caduta da bicicletta avuta il 18 Aprile 2019 ed un’altra contro il COVID19 il 4 Marzo 2022, la storia di un uomo mai piegato e mai sconfitto né dal COVID19 e né dall’assurda caduta da bici da corsa avuta a 35 anni lungo la Strada Statale 5 Tiburtina Valeria dentro Avezzano (AQ), all’altezza di via Wassermann dove è sito il Motel Salviano, provenendo dal centro abitato di Cappelle dei Marsi, una caduta provocata dai cambiamenti climatici riguardanti i fattori zonali, ovvero un improvviso forte vento laterale di Libeccio da SW a 70-80 km/h, complice poi la presenza sulla strada nel proprio senso di marcia di una buca e di un dosso, un mezzo meccanico non completamente a posto per due cuscinetti della serie sterzo usurati, in appena 15 secondi mi sono ritrovato a terra e senza avere il tempo di reazione necessario per staccare il piede dal pedale sinistro, rimasto incastrato sotto la bicicletta al momento della caduta che bloccò temporaneamente il traffico veicolare in entrambi i sensi di marcia, salvato da morte certa dallo spirito del santo protettore dei ciclisti su strada in Italia, Michele Scarponi morto al tempo da quasi due anni il 22 Aprile 2017, la ricorrenza della morte dell’angelo protettore dei ciclisti italiani non poteva che salvare anche la mia vita da morte sicura e per questo motivo ho cercato di trasformare i problemi vertebrali avuti da questa caduta in energia positiva da incanalare nella lotta in difesa della sicurezza dei ciclisti sulle strade italiane, divenendo il 30 Gennaio 2023 membro partecipante ordinario della Fondazione Michele Scarponi fondata dal fratello maggiore Marco Scarponi, ad esatti 8 anni dalla morte di mio nonno materno Carmine Palermo, da sempre noto appassionato di biciclette nel suo paese natale, Scurcola Marsicana (AQ), ma che non mi ha trasmesso questa passione perché io l’ho avuta da quando avevo 8 anni, poi dal 2008 ebbi modo di potermi comprare una bicicletta da corsa con telaio in carbonio e forcella in alluminio, la italianissima Shockblaze modello Kosmos costata al tempo 700 euro e che potei acquistare da una piccola parte di somma di denaro associata alla borsa di studio di 1700 euro vinta all’Università degli Studi di L’Aquila nell’anno accademico 2007-2008 grazie all’aver raggiunto i 180 Crediti Formativi Universitari (CFU) stabiliti dal corso di laurea in Scienze e Tecnologie per l’Ambiente e la Natura classe L27 presso la Facoltà di Scienze Matematiche Fisiche e Naturali (MM.FF.NN.), un corso che ebbe tra i padri fondatori uno dei miei professori più eruditi ed illustri, il Prof. Aldo Domenicano, nato ad Avezzano il 4 Marzo 1938 e deceduto il 17 Luglio 2022 ad 84 anni nella sua casa di via Gregorio VIII a Roma.

Il fatto di essermi dovuto isolare forzatamente dalle persone per scelta mia personale e paterna mi ha causato tanta sofferenza e continua a causarmela, in una regione Abruzzo che già mi era sgradita per il fatto che mi ha discriminato politicamente e mi ha impedito di lavorare nei miei settori di competenza, non bastava questa sola forma di discriminazione, ma adesso ne sto subendo un’altra ben peggiore, quella sanitaria e questo aspetto mi fa più incazzare di tutto il resto, perché io non lo merito! Nonostante tutti gli impedimenti che non mi consentono di tornare più ad una vita normale e che mi obbliga continuamente a lottare contro il mio stesso sistema nervoso centrale dopo quasi due anni dalla guarigione dal COVID19, stoicamente mi continuo coraggio e vado avanti, perché nella vita si deve andare sempre in una sola direzione avanti quando si sa di essere nel giusto, è inevitabile, perché il mio idolo sportivo di vita Ayrton Senna al mio posto avrebbe fatto la stessa cosa.

L’audio della telefonata con gli operatori della Mezzaluna Rossa, diffuso dalla Bbc, fece il giro del mondo. Oggi la tragica scoperta, uccisi anche due medici partiti per soccorrerla.
«Il carro armato è accanto a me. Si sta muovendo. Verrai a prendermi? Ho tanta paura». Hanno fatto il giro del mondo le ultime parole di Hind Rajab, 6 anni, nell’audio della telefonata registrata dagli operatori della Mezzaluna Rossa e diffusa dalla Bbc. Era lunedì 29 gennaio ed era arrivato l’ordine di evacuare le zone a ovest di Gaza City. «Eravamo terrorizzati e volevamo scappare» ricorda la madre di Hind, Wissam, che si era incamminata con il figlio maggiore verso l’ospedale Ahli.
«Faceva freddo e pioveva», per questo alla bambina era stato trovato un posto nell’auto dello zio, con altri parenti. L’auto finì sotto i tiri d’artiglieria dei carri armati, i familiari disperati chiamarono Wissam al cellulare e lei avvertì la Mezzaluna Rossa. Gli operatori richiamarono quel numero una prima volta: rispose la cugina quindicenne di Hind e disse che tutti gli adulti erano morti.
La seconda volta l’operatrice ebbe in risposta solo la vocetta impaurita di Hind. «Mettiti sotto il sedile» le suggerì, mentre la bambina spiegava che «gli altri sono morti o forse dormono». «Tu verrai a prendermi?» implorava. In an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic shortly after the family was targeted, Hind’s mother said she had managed to speak to her and an older cousin, 15-year-old Layan Hamadeh, who was with Hind in the car.
“They are shooting at us. The tank is next to us,” Layan said in a recording released at the time.
Then a barrage of shooting was heard, followed by screams, before the line cut out.
The plight of Hind, revealed in the harrowing audio clips, underlined the impossible conditions for civilians in the face of Israel’s four-month assault on Gaza, which many governments have termed a “genocide”.
Israel’s military has killed nearly 28,000 people – mostly women and children – since October 7 when Hamas fighters attacked Israel, killing more than 1,100 people and taking 253 captives, according to Israeli tallies.

An Israeli tank fired from a close distance at the family car of six-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab, and a tank shell directly hit the ambulance that was dispatched to help, according to an investigation.
The killing of the child and her family in Gaza Cityin late January prompted international condemnation.
Rajab, who survived the initial shooting, had begged for help as she bled out among the bodies of her dead relatives while on the phone with paramedics and her mother for three hours.
In a documentary on civilian killings in the war on Gaza, Al Jazeera TV’s Fault Lines provided a detailed reconstruction of the incident, compiled in collaboration with nonprofit investigative groups, Forensic Architecture and Earshot.
The investigation revealed the Israeli tank was likely just 13 to 23 metres (42 to 75 feet) away when it opened fire on Rajab and her relatives in their car.
Through interviews with family members, Palestinian Civil Defence workers and medical responders, the documentary provides the most comprehensive account on video of the incident to date.
It also reconstructs for the first time the likely position of the Israeli tank when it fired on the car, as well as the likely trajectory of the tank shell that struck the ambulance with a direct hit when it came to rescue Rajab.
The Israeli military refused to answer Al Jazeera’s questions on the details of the incident.However, the new evidence further disproves previous claims by the Israeli military that its forces were not present in the area.
The ambulance deployed to help Rajab was attacked after receiving approval from Israeli authorities, complete with a map and approved route.
